The
Canadian Forces Snowbirds, a Canadian military formation
aerobatic team, celebrate their 30th Anniversary. They first
performed in July 1971 as The Canadian Forces Air Demonstration
Team. They were established in April, 1978 as a permanent
squadron and were renamed 431 (Air Demonstration) Squadron
Snowbirds.
"As Canadian Ambassadors, 431 (Air Demonstration) Squadron's
mission is to demonstrate to the North American public the skills,
professionalism, and teamwork of the Canadian Forces and to
service as a platform for recruiting."
